Our vision

is to help people become self-aware of their physical, mental and emotional forces and limitations & find strategies to feel satisfied and productive on a daily basis.

Every human has unique attributes that impact their health; part of it comes from the environment they live or grew in, personal factors, and half of it is determined by their intentional activities….

Cedulify is to provide a simple and caring experience to create a personalized schedule. Health promotion must include participating in various activities and finding one's balance with personal and professional responsibilities.

Anne’s story behind Cedulify

In the midst of the pandemic, I felt the world was missing some tools or strategies to stay healthy both mentally and physically. We were and still are, all experiencing, at different level, changes in our meaningful and favorite activities while facing a common threat. The message I wanted to share with everyone was one from occupational therapy lens: WHAT YOU DO MATTERS for your health and well-being. In the last year I have worked on creating a first solution, from research to a mobile app prototype. I was able to bring alive Cedulify, which I had help from my sister Rose-Hélène to initiate the validation of the idea, and the design of our first prototype.

The prevention of global health is something that has driven me since a young age. My career path led me to start working as a maternity counselor and also as a home care and rehabilitation counselor. I have always been curious about people's stories and learning from their journeys, challenges, successes and goals. I worked as an occupational therapist after completing my master's degree in occupational therapy in 2012 and decided to work in home-care community services for few years.

It was when I experienced the life transition of a first baby in 2016, that I began to question my happiness on a daily basis. A recurring question was: How could I take care of myself and others without feeling sad, on edge or exhausted all day? It was only in 2019, pregnant with my third child, that I allowed myself to understand the postpartum depression of my first childbirth. I had never stopped long enough to reflect on what was keeping me from being satisfied and what I was aspiring for. In this example of life transition change happened at all levels (physiological, emotional..) and, thus some of our habits and activities must change too. I reach out for support and I applied my own therapy, occupational therapy, and it felt good!

Everyday I still have some challenges, however I have some tools to observe them and try to see what is meaningful or worthwhile. I simply want to share this vision with as many people as possible: doing, being, becoming, belonging in a satisfying and conscious way is contributing to your well-being. Moreover, to guide the reflection on people’s abilities and self-power over themselves, others and the planet.

I also believe that I am privileged to be who I am and I feel a deep desire to have a voice for those who do not have the same advantages as I do. I believe that collectively we can help each other and feel part of the same world.

With Cedulify my mission is a social one and I decided after a couple of months into development of the mobile app, to join the social ideation program at D3 Concordia to flourish into a social entrepreneur. At D3, I met incredible social leaders, change agents, including Nassim, who was on her mission to advocate for contextually adapted products that could provide a greater range of accessibility.

I partnered up with Nassim as her mission is in line with the vision of Cedulify since it is built around the unique attributes of human beings that have an impact on their health; part of it comes from the environment in which they live or grew up, part from their perceived abilities, and some from their actions.

Nassim’s story behind Cedulify

An engineer who immigrated to Canada in her early 20's, I have struggled with anxiety and depression for many years. I have studied the gaps within our mental health system and trained myself on proactive mental health solutions and software product strategies. I have lived with immigrants like myself who did not respond to current mental health solutions, and because of this I am a proponent of "One size does not fit all" mental health. I partnered up with Anne because I believed in her clinical skills and years of occupational therapy. Health promotion happens by participating in various activities and finding a balance between personal and professional responsibilities.

My lifetime mission is to help as many people as possible avoid living an unbalanced and unharmonized life. Every underrepresented individual who attains mental health and life harmony makes me happy.

Anne and I have teamed up to ensure our solution creates a customized dynamic schedule, a user centered solution readily accessible to underrepresented groups. My mission in Ceduilfy is to put into practice the lessons that I learned in my personal life so that everybody can have their own personalized environment that enhances their life, their confidence, their strength and resiliency in the face of challenges and adversity.

Our mission

We are 2 co-founders who have well-being, mental and global health at heart. We met at D3 Concordia innovation while exploring the social impact of our ideas on a larger scale and how to work with the system. We are developing a benevolent,  inclusive and sensitive virtual tool to help people equip themselves in the various stages and transitions in their lives.

Our first mission is to provide users with a mobile application to get insight about how they spend their time and energy, as well as enabling them to define and harmonize their daily schedule.

In this process of e-coaching, users will be able to reflect on their values, interests, strengths and challenges in order to manage their time and energy in a satisfying way and create a healthy daily schedule. We believe Cedulify is innovative and will help promote physical, psychological and emotional health and well-being. A tool to reduce mental burden and foster engagement in user’s daily activities. The software is built on occupational science evidence, neuro-science as well as health professionals and users' experience. We will be implementing AI and VR as innovative technologies combined with health professional expertise to offer an interactive e-coaching.
